You can learn about self-compassion by reading a book or by watching videos. The most important thing is connecting to the practices you resonate with the most and discovering your own relationship to self-compassion. Not all plants will grow where you live, so finding the ones that will grow and flourish contributes to the well-being of your garden.

Another option is to learn with a teacher within a community. The teacher holds the container, and the best learning can come from members of the community.
